The highlight of the tour is a boat trip through the River Gambia National Park, a protected area made up of river islands that can be reached from Kuntaur on the North Bank. Itinerary
Day 1 – North Bank Birdwatching, Kuntaur and River Gambia National Park
6 am pickup time, heading to the Banjul ferry crossing to the north, where we'll spend 3 hours travelling through the north, stopping at hotspots for birdwatchers and photography, and local villages. Bird's to see on the way, Savile's Bustard, Northern Ant Eater Chat, Senegal Parrot Cut Throat Finch, Palm Nut Vulture, stop at Kaur and Njawo for Egyptian plover Red throated bee eater, Northern carmine bee eater, arriving at kautaure jetty take at list 2 to 3 hour's boat trip in to the River Gambia National park undoubtedly the highlights of the day trip will be Chimpanzees, hippos, baboons, Red Colobus monkeys and lots of birds.
Overnight in Georgetown.
Day 2 – South Bank Birdwatching and Return to the Coast
After breakfast in Georgetown, we are heading back to the coast via the south bank road and making several stops at our hotspots e.g YBK Wood's Fula Bantag, Dalaba water hole and back to the coast,bird's to see on the way back,Yellow-bellied Hyliota, Brozen winged Courser, Adamawa Tuttle dove, Marabou Stock, African Pygmy Gooose etc..back to the coast.
